Just down the street from R2 Hillside Ranch there is a cute roadside flower stand. Frog & Feather Flowers is a small specialty cut flower farm based in Watsonville. Our neighbors Charlotte and Bryan Kett started the farm in 2020 with the dream of providing gorgeous sustainably grown flowers for weddings, events and their local community. Charlotte completed the CASFS apprenticeship at UCSC in 2019 and is passionate about soil health and ecological farming practices. By using minimum tillage and organic farming practices, the flower field supports a wide diversity of insects and birds as well as healthy living soil.
If you'd like to find flowers from Frog & Feather Flowers, their roadside flower stand on Larkin Valley Rd. is open every weekend from May-October. They keep it packed with all the freshest flowers from the field including dahlias, sunflowers and mixed bouquets. They can also be found at the Felton Farmers Market every Tuesday from June-October.
